Team: CMS Support (Backbone)
Job Description:

As part of the Global Services Delivery (GSD) Backbone team (Tier 3) supporting business units worldwide. Day to day interaction with Fortune 500 customers around the Globe which gives exposure to the Global customers. Other engagements include Vendor management and Business partner Meetings. Responsibility for Customer issue resolution on CMS/IQ product. Customer issue resolution involves post sales implementation, post production support and integration of devices in the customer network. Daily work includes escalations and aged cases monitoring, identifying the customer’s pain or concern areas and driving them towards speedy resolution. Daily work function also involves knowledge transfer, collect and collate, verify and approve various documents for known issues to add to the Knowledge base which are maintained on a centralized Knowledge base server. Technical troubleshooting on Solaris/Linux based product. Providing training and mentorship to new recruits is another key responsibility.

Essential Skills:
Advanced Unix/Solaris/Linux skills (must be conversant with commands and their usage and core OS concepts).
Basic data networking skills (mainly TCP/IP concepts).
Oracle DBA.
Tomcat, JBOSS.
Basic concepts of Java.
Advanced Database/DBMS concepts and administration.
Decent English communication skills (Spoken & written).
Neutral Accent
Positive attitude
Inclination to self learn
Good Analytical ability
Team Player
Product Skills (Preferred):
Good conceptual knowledge of Voice networking/enterprise telephony preferably Avaya.
Knowledge of Avaya PBXes like G3SI/G3CSI/G3R/S8700/S8300/S8xxx and Avaya Contact Centre solution terminology is preferable (Key words: Split/Skill, VDN, Vector, Hunt group; Trunk groups).
Knowledge of functions and integration of Enterprise telephony/business communication products such as PBX/Switch, CMS, CTI, IVR etc.
Job Location: Pune.
Experience Level: 3 to 7 years.
BE/MCA or equivalent.
Certifications like ACA, ACS,SCJP, RHCE & OCP would be an added advantage.
Strong Communication, Trouble shooting & Analytical skills are a prerequisite.
Should be ready to work in shifts.
