Technical Team Leader

Role Description:

Run (and lead others in same) the live infrastructure and applications system for RMG’s eBusiness. Run the processes to manage the production and pre-productions environments, be an active and integral member of the team to resolve live problems, build environments and understand their configuration (hardware, middleware and software), update components within environments.

Technologies involved:

Linux, Apache, MySQL, Drupal, Data Centre Hosting experience, Cordys, Zeus

Technical Skills:

Mandatory: Strong skills in at least two of Linux, Apache, MySQL, or similar web hosting environments. Some scripting experience suitable for a sys-admin role. Good working ITIL knowledge
Desirable: Some knowledge of networking, databases.

Business Skills:

Mandatory: Shows aptitude for team leading and 3rd party liaison. Good communications skills (written and verbal).
Desirable: Web, Rightshore.
