JD:

Roles & Responsibilities:
 Perform Oracle Applications 11i Installation, Patching and Cloning
 Maintaining Oracle 11i Application
 Oracle Database Administration activities including monitoring, schema management, space management, performance tuning, SQL tuning, database backup and recovery, disaster recovery.
 Provide 24x7 support and ensure that all critical database problems are resolved in a timely manner
 Perform/support RDBMS software maintenance and database instance creation

Education/Relevant Experience:
 4 - 7 years of relevant experience
 Needs to have working knowledge on UNIX systems.
 Should have a strong understanding of Oracle Applications Installation, Patching, Cloning and System Administration work.
 Should be able to perform DBA activities database refresh, space management, backup and recovery and SQL programming.
 Unix Shell scripting would be an advantage.
 Experience in the Oracle Applications HRMS Suite would be an advantage.
 Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training and experience.
