Mobile/iPhone/PC games company is seeking a Drupal/PHP Engineer in San Jose, CA!

Namco has an exceptional career opportunity for a PHP Engineer with Drupal specialization in San Jose, CA.

Our ideal candidate wil have Specialized Knowledge/Expertise Requirements:
• Must have at least 2 years experience programming with PHP and SQL.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience developing customized modules in a Drupal environment.
• Familiarity with multi-tier deployment procedures for Drupal.
• Must have an intimate understanding of database and network programming.
• Java programming ability recommended.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing modules to provide services and additional functionality using the Drupal CMS. The candidate must have experience programming client/server tools in PHP, be familiar with SQL database integration. Drupal experience is a must, thus the successful candidate will have significant experience programming in Drupal/PHP environment.

Responsibilities :
• Creating and maintaining server back-end scripts/tools using PHP, SQL and other programming languages.
• Evaluating and deploying Drupal modules with a solid understanding of the framework, coding best-practices, resources and community.
• Integrating back-end services with Drupal and PHP based front ends.
• Developing Drupal modules that integrate or layer on top of existing modules.
• Working with the production team to manage and customize internal productivity tools (bug tracking, content management, etc.).
• Creating other network scripts and tools to assist in product development.
• Experience in LAMP environment
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
