We are a consulting firm catering to different IT & ITES Industries for their
manpower requirements.

Currently we have an Urgent opening for Technical Lead (Linux & Web Administration) with iGATE Global Solutions (One of our clients) based at Bangalore.

Below is the snapshot of the requirement-

Total Experience- 5-7 years
Relevant Exp in Linux & Web Administration- 3- 4 years

Educational Qualification: BE/BSc/BCA/MSc/MCA

** Candidate should have secured minimum of 50% across Diploma/Graduation, 12th and 10th

Description:

Monitoring and admin activities on 100+ Linux servers using centralized monitoring tools

Capacity, availability and performance monitoring

Scheduling of Jobs, File system Management

Backing Up of file systems & managing file permissions Shell scripting

Volume management, Creation of Metadata/Logical Volumes

Sharing of file systems, Mounting and Un-mounting shared file systems

Setting up kernel parameters on linux box, Setting up SSH auto login to other hosts On Web Administration

GOOD EXPERIENCE on Apache, Tomcat 6, JBOSS 4.05 Patches and compilers is a MUST.

Monitoring and admin activities on 125+ web instances on linux platforms using centralized monitoring tools (must)

Installation and configuration of Apache on Linux boxes (must), Installation and configuration of Tomcat on Linux boxes(must)

Tomcat connectors - Building apache modules - Experience on php/Lamp based applications. House keeping activities on linux and web instances

Start/stop application servers, configure Data sources, JDBC Connections, Pools, etc

Create Domains for Application, configure and deploy applications.

Note: Those willing to work in night shifts, only need to apply. (Shift allowance would be provided along with the package)
