MySQL DBA/LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR London £30k
MySQL DBA with Linux Systems Administration experience is sought after by my industry leading solutions provider within the payments, financial and telco markets.
Great opportunity for someone with a broad technical background encompassing MySQL DBA, Linux Administration (Redhat/Sentos/Awk/Batch), scripting and MS Windows Administration (however the Windows aspect of the role will, in time, be moved to another department. This particular position will be within the Managed Services Team which is responsible for 33% of the entire Support function that is split into Managed Services, Helpdesk & Implementation teams.
Any exposure to Unix, SQL programming in C, C++ or VB or Testing would be favourable but by no means essential in applying for this position.
Your role will involve both business and technical analysis of major client systems such as re-active & pro-active fault location and resolution. Ownership of key areas of my client's managed service, support and maintenance of payments software, disaster recovery management & implementation, back-ups, and all other areas of Production technical support.
This is an immediate requirement and will not be on the market long
