An opportunity has arisen for a PHP Developer / Joomla PHP Web Developer to join our client, a leading web and software development company based in Camberley.

Acting as a bridge between the design and programming departments, in this role you will be responsible for assisting with a range of new projects in addition to maintaining websites for their ever-growing portfolio of clients. Optimising websites for various web browsers and platforms will also be an important facet of your role.

As the PHP Developer / Joomla PHP Web Developer you will also work closely with the Graphic Designers in order to "cut up" and optimise Photoshop web design images once signed-off by the client.

To be considered for this position you must have some commercial experience of working with PHP and Joomla. Some form of higher education, ideally a degree (or equivalent) would be a benefit.

The following skills are also essential:

- HTML, DHTML and XHTML
- CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
- Open Source Content Management technologies
- Photoshop

As the PHP Developer / Joomla PHP Web Developer you should also have great attention to detail and strong communication skills. You must also be able to work without constant direction after initial training and be able to change tasks quickly as the business demands.
