PHP Web Developer - £35k to £40k p/a - Basingstoke

Reporting directly to the Commercial Web Manager you will be required to take an existing on-line offering providing a secure method of conveyance product & contracts to the public and develop a modular solution allowing expansion & adaption to new commercial opportunities. Other responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

• Structure development work to hit deadlines
• Leverage design tools to manage/create as required
• To work with the company marketing department to ensure design standards are adhered to & also dovetailed into any current initiatives.
• Build & maintain site change control processes to meet commercial needs of launch dates
• The use & implementation of secure environments
• To provide technical/non-technical documentation for solutions

It is essential that you have a solid working history with PHP and SQL/MySQL as well as full project lifecycle experience. Experience of commercial web based solutions is of paramount importance as is the ability to work comfortably with the technical/sales & marketing teams. Any experience within the B2B/B2C markets is ideal as is experience of B2B transactional systems & design experience. Exposure to skills such as Java/SOAP/XML/CSS/HTML/AJAX is highly advantageous.
