Position 1 - Java Engineer/Sr Engineer • 4+ years of J2EE development • 3+ years with Lightweight J2EE frameworks such as Spring, Struts 2.0 • 3+ years with IBM WebSphere Server, • 3+ Experience developing Web Services, SOAP is required, RESTful services are plus. • 3+ Experience developing Portlets, JSPs and Servlets • 3+ years with advanced JavaScript Frameworks such as Jquery, Dojo, ExtJS and a Familiarity with JSON • Good fundamental understanding of J2EE concepts • Proficiency with portal themes and skins • Excellent debugging skills • Familiar with performance tuning • Experience working in a Scrum or agile environment • Familiarity with GOF (Gang of Four) Design Patterns & other Abstract Data Structures • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communications skills • Should have practical work experience in a multi-tiered architectural environment • Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and will have exceptional writing and communication skills • Demonstrated a record of developing successful applications that are highly integrated and Reliable • Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline- Driven environment • Sun Certified Java programmer preferred. Exp- 4-9 Yrs Position 2- UI Engineer GUI Experience is important, Flex is helpful. As a Senior Front-End Developer you would be responsible for developing new and enhanced functionality for existing application. The role requires well-demonstrated skills in development, user interface design, and User Experience best practices. To be successful, you must quickly understand new applications and new requirements, be able to derive the UI design from documented functional requirements, and collaborate with fellow developers, engineers, and stakeholders. Multiple constituents will have input and feedback on design output. Expect work to be highly iterative. Must communicate clearly and effectively; strong analytical and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Must be able to develop new approaches to complex design problems and able to meet aggressive deadlines. Must have an eye for detail. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years experience in front-end web development, with strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS, DHTML and JavaScript required. - Experience with AJAX frameworks such as Prototype, ExtJS, jQuery or YUI is must. - Development experience with Adobe FLEX framework/tools, BlazeDS. - Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies including Servlets, JSP, JSF, XML processing. - Experience developing on application servers such as Apache Tomcat, WebSphere etc. - Experience with version control systems such as Subversion, CVS etc. - Capable of adhering to project schedules and effectively tracking progress to meet challenging deadlines and corporate initiatives. - Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. - A proven track record of successful UI Design development projects.
