Detailed Job Description:
Senior software developer well versed in web technologies and platforms and will be a key player in building out the web and API infrastructure for all the project we do on the web/mobile/mobile web and online platforms.

Overall Responsibilities:
Develop high quality and professional web content and backend APIs.
Ability to code matching webpage to PSD designs that render correctly in all major browsers on all major platforms.
Ability to comprehend technical specs, ask appropriate technical questions and raise concerns.

Job Requirements:
• At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in professional web development.
• Solid software engineering skills and can write modular/scalable code.
• In dept knowledge of HTML 4/5, PHP, CSS3, MYSQL and JavaScript a must.
• Knowledge of ASP.NET, jQuery, Flash is a plus.
• Ability to write & develop scalable backend APIs.
• Experience with PHP Zend, Ruby on Rails, Joomla, Wordpress etc would be helpful to know.
• Experience with Amazon EC2, S3 or similar cloud computing environments is a plus.
• Great eye perfection also and some experience with basic knowledge of Photoshop needed.
• Knowledge of SEO in Web design and development.

My Client are a young and fresh thinking online company and have a great opportunity for an experienced PHP/MySQL developer to join a dynamic and exciting development team early and at a critical time in the rapid growth of the company. They have constant technical challenges and are looking for someone with natural flair and curiosity to help shape their future.
They are looking for someone with:
• 2+ years commercial experience (e-commerce preferable)
• a comprehensive understanding of object oriented PHP preferably being at home within the MVC design pattern
• broad experience of the more advanced features of MySQL5
• experience with PHP and Javascript frameworks (we use Zend and Prototype) with the ability to rapidly grasp new concepts and frameworks when required
