In a nutshell, we build a network/community of industry experts, and we sell consultations with these people to financial investors. Expert networks are a hot industry. We are the best in Europe and rapidly becoming one of the best in the world, only 2 years after inception.
We are based in central London and work in a fun and multicultural group of people with a big drive to win in our market (and the mandatory foosball table and espresso machine!). Last but not least, we are expanding very fast and continue to manage to beat our own records every month, despite the ambient gloomy mood (of others).

The_job(){
We are our own client, continuously evolving our own system. The IT platform is fundamental in all aspects of what we do. It is designed, developed and maintained in-house by the IT team, for now 7 bright people. It more or less runs everything we do in the company. It’s already great, but we plan to make it even better, with your help.
You will be part of this IT team, where you will have a lot of autonomy, only reporting to the CTO. The job itself is 90% designing and developing cool stuff around workflow automation, search tools and graph theory, complex ergonomics, and if you want to go this way, managing junior developers or interns. For the last 10%, we trust your creativity.
You will also be involved in the specification process in coordination with the operational and commercial teams. Speaking of methodology, we work Agile-style in short release cycles, usually by flexible teams of 2 or 3, daily Scrum meetings, around projects that we try to keep under 3 weeks long.
Technology-wise, nothing crazy, everything is Web-based, LAMP platform with some server applications like search engines and I/O filters. We are not vain technophiles and rely more on sound architecture, smart data models and elegant coding, but we’ll be glad to have you push any technology, methods or processes that you see fit for a given task.

Education: top university preferably.
Experience: flexible, but most of the candidates we would be interested in probably need 3 to 5 years of work experience. We also value highly any kind of IT-related successful personal project.

Work_conditions(){
Compensation will be competitive, within an indicative range of 35-50K/year, plus benefits. We are located in central London, dead close to Tottenham Court Road. 15min walk to the Eurostar station or Oxford Circus. We have our own private bar (cheap subsidised drinks) which doubles as a cafeteria (cheap subsidised meals) and night club at times. Also unlimited coffee, 2 top-notch foosball tables (and a lot of competition), a health insurance plan, access to our private gym and more.
